(Spiritual) Energy
(Spiritual) Energy
Spiritual energy corresponds to the vital breath that inhabits living beings, and which governs the laws of the universe.
Every individual has one, which they feel more or less. These energetic vibrations, when we learn to listen to them and rebalance them, can help us achieve physical and mental well-being and thus regain a certain harmony. There are several ways to work on this spiritual energy and its balance. Here are a few!
Spiritual energy is called Prāṇa in Sanskrit (an Indian language) or Chi (which comes from the Chinese 气qì), and represents the universal force of life. These terms have no literal translation in French, and are therefore difficult to define. They are close to the meaning of the spirit or the soul, without really being completely so since the word 'soul' is represented by another ideogram in Chinese (神shén).
Chi therefore corresponds to the vital breath that animates the universe with vibrations, positive or negative. This Chi sets the rhythm of the life of each being and connects them to each other. It gives life and animates all living things on earth, but is not considered a divinity.
It is this same spiritual energy that governs the cosmos and all the laws of the universe. Each being can also be considered a cosmos in its own right, where this energy, this vital breath, circulates, particularly through the different Chakras.
Spiritual energy is part of certain practices of unconventional medicine in Asia. This is the case, for example, of Reiki, a Japanese medicine that allows care to be provided through energy flows and the opening of the Chakras. Few scientific studies in the Western world have yet addressed the question of these spiritual energies and their benefits.
Spiritual energy involves our 7 main Chakras, whose function is precisely to regulate these energies. The dysfunctions of our body and mind are all linked to one of the Chakras, which must then be rebalanced to regain energetic harmony. It is this harmony that prevents our physical body and our psyche from preventing and healing various ailments.
